Bush. Upon his retirement he started his second career with Rockwell international and subsequently The Boeing Company when Boeing acquired Rockwell’s Defense Businesses.

During his career at Boeing he held a variety of executive positions to include Vice President and General Manager of a Boeing wholly owned overseas subsidiary in Australia. His company was one of the first Australian companies to achieve ISO 9002 certification and to implement an “Enterprise Bargaining Agreement” which was recognized by the Australian Labor Court as a model agreement for labor relations.

Upon his return to the U.S. he became Program Executive/General Manager for the Special Operations Forces, at Boeing’s Aerospace Support Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This business unit was a distressed business unit with declining revenues of $60m and very poor customer relations.  Over the next seven years he built the business into a $350m business with a backlog of over $500m. He reversed customer satisfaction levels from extremely negative to favored contractor status and changed the culture of the business and workforce from very negative levels to a world class quality standard with employee satisfaction indices among the best in the industry.
